Austin King’s Chronicles From Across The Pond.
To view my critically acclaimed journals, click on “Austin King’s Chronicles From Across The Pond” under the “Categories” section on the right side of this page. You can also just click on the month and year under the “Archives” section located down the sidebar on the right side. I wrote these over the past 5 years while living and racing my bike in Europe.
2001- These are the originals that started it all! Written through the eyes of a young, green, 19 year old American standing on European soil for the very first time. All I wanted to do was race my bike….. Most of these I’m not going to post for awhile due to their crudeness and the one’s I did post are a tad harsh and might be offensive to some. I chose not to edit these because this is how I saw things on my first trip across the pond and for that reason they have meaning to me. So, read ‘em at your own discretion.

2004- After a few year hiatus, the Chronicles were back and in full force. This was a very strong year with lots of mindless, light hearted, rambling to read about. Check out very humorous “The Belgian Blunder” to read about the mistakes of other young guys racing ther bikes in Belgium…… Enjoy.

2005- A little bit less content, but still a very nice year for the Chronicles. My favorite is “My Advice Helps A Young Man In Need”. Most people would charge for great advice like that. Which brings up an interesting possibility……hhmmm.
Cheers.

How is life. I have moved to Atlanta. Any contacts out here for me to hook up with on rides. No wimps please. I need a good ass kicking like the BOS ride.
Tell your dad hello from me.
Hope you are well and any help would be great. Tired of ridding alone this winter.

Sketchy! … Actually, I like B-Rad a whole lot more. Good ring to it.
Great to hear from you. I know a few people in Atlanta. If your ever in Athens let me know. I know more people there from the Jittery Joe’s days.
What sent you off to Atlanta? Work?
Best of luck and great to hear from you.
