Come get your news…

November 27, 2007 1:55 pm

Well folks, to cut to the point and avoid us both a long drawn out intro… I’m putting together a newsletter for the Arizona cycling community.

I will now elaborate in a long drawn out way.

The Velocity Group Cycling News is scheduled to hit (not literally) mailboxes in early December. The print based newsletter will feature 4 full color pages that will include training tips, race results, rider interviews, photos, group ride schedules and more. The newsletter will only feature events, riders, and activities from within Arizona. If you want National news, go see CyclingNews or VeloNews. I’ll leave the big stuff to them. The Velocity Group Cycling News will also feature advertising space reserved for Arizona cyclist owned businesses. Currently Missingsaddle.com, BicycleRadio.com, Best in the West Builders, Achievers Mortgage, and CWF Financial have signed on. All are owned and operated by local cyclists.

For now the newsletter will circulate on a bi-monthly basis and reach 1,200 riders and steadily growing. If you, or anybody you know, live in Arizona and would like to receive this newsletter, leave me a comment and let me know. Please don’t forget to leave your full name and mailing address. Your comment will not appear on the site as I have to approve them before they are posted.

Oh yeah, and to clarify something… this is a printed, hard copy, tangible, hold-it-in-your-hand newsletter. Not an e-mail based newsletter. To clarify one more thing… this newsletter will feature absolutely NO real estate talk. None, nada, zero, zilch. I want people to read this as opposed to filing it in the garbage can. The newsletter is simply branded with the Velocity Group name because… well, we are the one’s sending it.

I believe that’s all. Please drop me a comment if you have any questions, comments, worries, concerns, or recommendations. I am open to any ideas as to how I can make this newsletter more informative and of more value to the local riders.

Take care.

Austin

And a final thought… The best part about the newsletter is that it will be… drum roll please… free. Free is the best price.
