Choose Wisely This Wednesday…

October 29, 2007 4:36 pm

Hi folks,

Long time no talky. My apologies. This crazy thing called “work” sure is getting in the way of all the copious amounts of internet time that are now simply a distant memory of a time long, long ago. And by “long, long ago” I mean like two months. But anyways…

Below is a newsletter I just sent out to my database this morning. Click on the “happy-halloween.pdf” link and check out the 3 dummies in the photo. If you can guess who the two guys with their faces covered are, I’ll send you something.

What is something?

No clue. Maybe Jittery Joe’s socks or gloves or something I have in my closet? I’ll try and make it something good. I promise. Nothing gross and used.

Here are your hints:

Both were professional riders.
Both raced with the US National Team.
Both were embarrassed that night.

That’s all the clues for now. Be safe out there and dress appropriately this Wednesday… otherwise photos could pop up on some dumpy blog a few years later.

I hold my breath in anticipation of your response…

I feel for Huff.

Dear Huff,

After watching this video, I feel sad for your left shoulder.

The Sinclair Imports Party….

October 2, 2007 5:08 pm

Ever wonder what this Interbike party is like?

Ok, Well…

Think “cyclists” … or maybe even “bicyclists”…

Ok… Now…

Does a nightclub with girls dancing on poles to the music of Usher and Lil’ Jon come to mind?

Nope.

Not for me either.

But it did for somebody out there.

To make the connection between cyclists, Lil’ Jon, and girls on stripper poles, they threw the Tour de France up on all the tv screens. Watch it, you’ll see Levi.

I get it. Now it all makes sense.

Be safe out there and watch out who’s foot you touch under the bathroom stall. You just can’t touch a stranger’s foot like you used too.
