As for me, I fly to San Diego in a few hours to meet up with my teammate Neil Shirley. Neil and I are the two west coast guys on the team and subsequently are the two who are being sent to the Tour of California to meet up with some sponsors. From what I’ve heard, we’re leading a group ride with the ROAD Magazine folks. If you want big glossy photos, check out their magazine. If you want rambling garbage and recumbent bike tech reviews, keep buying VeloNews.

I think I’m going to steal Neil’s team jersey and sneak off to the Tour of California finish line and get all the riders to autograph it. Wouldn’t that be sweet! I could even have the really fast one’s dry their faces off with it and then sign in the middle of their respective sweat stain. Then he could hang it up his living room wall!
