You know you want one…

A piece of art by my brother Hunter got picked up by a company to be produced as much smaller sized prints. He did this piece a few years ago and it’s called “Ode to Austin”. In 2001, I made my first trip to Europe to race my bike. I took the path less traveled and went to Vernon, France to race on a very small amateur team. Vernon was a small town about 45 minutes north of Paris. It’s 5K down the street from Giverny… Claude Monet’s former hood.

Here is a brief description that comes from Hunter’s website: “At the time he just got back from a stint in France which (obviously) made me think of what it would look like to see a frog riding a bicycle. When you are chasing your dreams, you’re in heaven, and a frog in heaven would be chasing bugs. It makes perfect sense to me. I spent so much time in the children’s section of the public library researching pictures of frogs and bugs the librarians asked me what I was doing there. Look closely, because this frog is anatomically correct. Eat your heart out Kermit.”

Check out the print here:

Now what are you waiting for? Order it. An anatomically correct frog riding a bicycle with bugs everywhere… Come on now folks, it’s perfect for just about anywhere.

Stay cool everyone.
