American Idol… something stinks.
January 18, 2007 8:37 amAmerican Idol… What is the deal?
Allow me to explain in more detail.
Suzanne and I have been watching American Idol this week. The first show of the season was a mega 2-hour premier this past Tuesday taped in Minneapolis, Minnesota. To be perfectly honest with you… something’s fishy.
Even more fishy than the past 5 or so season’s of horribly entertaining and painful auditions.
I will not elaborate anymore but simply and blunty ask, “American Idol, are you using retarded kids in your audtitions for better ratings”?
Seriously… We’re not talking normal looking and acting people who sing slightly off key.
Nope.
We’re talking the “missing link” child, caged and poked with a stick since birth, only to be released upon society last Tuesday morning to spastically dance as if they were having a seizure, and produce a cackling screech reminiscent of an untamed Hippopotamus feveriously mating with an old and crabby Velociraptor as they rip into Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”… all the while possessing two left ears perched just below a muff of slightly combed and greasy brown hair that screams out, “Watch out World, here I come!”.

I hope that painted a fantastic mental picture.
Don’t believe me? Then watch it. Next week they’re in Memphis. You only need to give it 10 minutes and then you can turn it off.
You know you want to…

Well…that was a vivid picture. ha ha
Yeah American Idol is geat and all but does the sun not rise in the morning? As we have come to know and understand our limitations are our realities. To change your possibilities your inner self must believe it so. So much that there is no other way. You see Austin he who hopes for a top 20 will indeed never crest the mountain first, whereas the man who dreams of podium yet does not get it does not fail as he will never give up.
