I’m through the first week of solid training, and currently working my way through week two. I finished up the first week with about 25 hours on the bike. This week I’m planning on 30 hours. So far, so good. The weather’s been perfect as usual. No snow yet… (that was a joke…, the day it snows in Phoenix, God help us all.) I’m getting ready to head out today and ride to Payson, Arizona. It’s about a 5 hour ride with 2 nice climbs. One up and over Mount Ord and the other up the Mogollon Rim as you climb into Payson. It’s a great ride with little-to-no traffic and wide open roads.

I’m also wrapping up school this week. I took a final last Friday, one yesterday and then I’ll take my last one this Thursday. Then I’m free at last… free at last. My training hasn’t been too bad, but combine it with school work, and a social life (I know, I’m lying… my only friends are my 3 readers) and anything else I might have my hands into…. and, well, I’ve been pretty busy.

I’ve also come to the conclusion I type less when I’m busy.
