WWW.AKINGSLIFE.COM… Where you’re a stranger… only once.

June 2, 2006 9:19 am

In a few hours I’m heading east. I fly into D.C. later tonight and meet up with the team. After Lancaster and Reading we head into Philadelphia for the big momma hootchie herself. You may remember Philadelphia from such global productions as their world famous cheese steaks and the former home of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. He lived there untill a couple of guys who were up to no good, started making trouble in his neighborhood. He got in one little fight and his mom got scared, she said, “you’re moving to your aunte and uncle to a town called Bel-Air”……You know what, I’ll tell you what I’m going to do if I find those two guys who ruffed up Will Smith…………..run like hell.

A question to leave you with……………………Have you ever seen a baby pigeon? Like a really little baby one? I was talking with Suzanne and we’ve never seen a baby pigeon. People hate pigeons but love anything that is “baby”. Would people then love a baby pigeon or would it be the first thing “baby” to ever be hated?

If that did nothing for you, maybe this will. Video of the start of the 2005 Tour of Flanders in Brugge, Belgium. It’s a 6 part playlist. The clips are short but show Brugge’s center, the riders roll out and then all the support cars follow. If you care, you can kind of see that Armstrong guy in the 3rd video. He’s one of the last two riders to start and is the guy on the outside that’s hard to see.

Talk to you soon.

Austin.
